Almost a Palmerston North institution, Aqaba has served hearty meals for more than 30 years in an historic building that was once the Masonic club. Recent changes have seen executive chef Mark Harman guide the kitchen to offer a new menu with old favourites reworked to introduce more local and seasonal ingredients. Shakshuka is a good choice on the brunch menu, while dinner brings healthy salad bowls, along with nicely garnished steaks, lamb and more.
