Three Seven Two

Three Seven Two

IN BRIEF Vacation feels and stunning flavour at this Waiheke hotspot

Textarea
The menu and the service at this Waiheke favourite are well worth the effort to get here from the mainland. The snacks alone of smoked kahawai, pickled cucumber and sourdough or spice-battered crispy-fried cabbage with black garlic, Sichuan chilli, spring onion, coriander and nori are worth a visit but we suggest you settle in and take some time to enjoy the full menu by the brilliant Bronwen Laight. More standouts are found in the chickpea pancake with cashew feta, babaganoush, olives and capers and the raw Haku kingfish in a bath of leche de tigre and tamarillo. The superbly cooked whole flounder has a curry butter, capers and sensationally crispy potatoes and a warm ginger cake with miso caramel sauce, oat crumble and pear sorbet is a perfect finish.
