Top Sail’s Beach Road Brasserie

International sailors love this almost undiscovered dining spot above the Onerahi Yacht Club. That’s no surprise as it sits at the tip of a small peaceful peninsula, almost walking distance from the Whangārei Basin, and has unrivalled views of the harbour and out over Matakohe Island. The owners have recently revamped the restaurant and with their small but well-formed menu of fresh New Zealand fare, cooked with a little Gallic influence, it is well worth a detour.
