The Grocer

Since opening in early 2026, The Grocer has been embraced by locals who love this seaside café and restaurant. Brunch and lunch during the day offers surprising dishes like brioche with chocolate ganache, hazelnuts and olive oil, and ‘Best Dish Ever’ – fried Brussels sprouts, horseradish, blue cheese, quince, balsamic and house lardons. The brilliance continues at dinner. Who knew about this surf and turf – a risotto where the surf is scallops, the turf is ’ndjua and bursts of flavour from parmesan, chives and lemon? There is also a dish named ‘Not A Pig’s Head’.
