This respected restaurant, operating since 1992, takes fish seriously, which is totally appropriate since it is set in one of the oldest wooden wharf sheds on Wellington's waterfront. There is a dedicated fishmonger and chef Geoff Ngan’s menu balances flavour, texture and indulgence without pretence. Start with oysters offered a variety of ways and progress to excellent fishy treats. Ladies lunches on the weekends are a special feature.
