When Chethan Pangam, a long-term NZ Beef & Lamb ambassador and hotel chef, took over the Dowse Museum café, plans to revitalise the menu were top of mind. The local community, suppliers and customers appreciated his hospitality, love of cooking and food. He keeps diners happy with casual fare during the day, gradually introducing hints of different Indian regions, and his love of familiar and unique spices. Open for dinner on weekends.
