Located on Victoria Street in the heart of Cambridge Alpino Restaurant is undeniably the restaurant of choice for locals wanting great food in a welcoming and buzzy environment and is the brainchild of restaurateurs Kim Smythe and Noel Cimadon. The formula here makes sense. You might just want a beer and a snack, or a big bowl of pasta or you may want linger over antipasti, secondi and dolce. Either way everyone is catered to and everyone is happy in true Italian style. The rich and hearty veal ragu swirled through pasta and topped with aged parmesan is a knock-out, the pizza is sensational and the risotto with prawns, nduja and leeks is comfort in a bowl.
