Owned by talented hospitality stars Stuart and Emma Rogan, this delightful spot on the Viaduct Harbour has quickly become a local favourite since opening in 2018. With Stuart’s impressive culinary background, both locally and internationally, you can expect a menu that beautifully marries the flavours of Japan, Korea and China. Their approach to cuisine remains as fresh as it was seven years ago, with each dish crafted with clean, bold flavours and thoughtful combinations. You can’t miss the roasted hāpuku with Hokkaido scallop, scampi wonton, rainbow chard, yuzu and tobiko butter emulsion with crispy curry leaves, or the refreshing take on burrata with Yuxiang sauce, roasted peanuts, spring onion, sesame and chilli crisp. The relaxed Beasty atmosphere is perfect for sharing, even more relaxed with a legendary Beasty Martini to start. While the dishes are meant for sharing, you might find it hard to part with your prawn and crab toast – so maybe order two!
